The focus is the humanitarian impact across every nation affected. Families separated, journeys disrupted, uncertainty heightened.
Flights remain grounded across multiple parts of the region. Airspace over Iran, Israel, Iraq, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Syria remains closed, with closures in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
Clearance to reopen airspace is issued by each country’s civil aviation authority, in coordination with national regulators and air traffic control authorities, following security and safety assessments. Until formal clearance is given, safety remains the absolute priority.
For those travellers currently unable to leave the region due to grounded flights, we understand how stressful and unsettling this is.
Across the travel ecosystem, travel agents, airlines, tour operators have been working around the clock to support customers. Efforts are focused on:
• Monitoring official aviation authority updates
• Re-protecting passengers onto alternative services where possible
• Prioritising travellers by date of departure
